At the beginning of 2002 the management of PIC Systems AG decided to certify the company until mid-2002. That was a mere strategic goal. Together with the company QDATECH GmbH as a business consultancy for quality management we reached the ambitious goal. We submitted the necessary manuals according to the norm at the end of May 2002 to the certification bureau BVQI (today Bureau Veritas Certification).

On 25.06.2002 we attained certification of ISO 9001:2000:12 with international validity.

Purpose of the quality management manual

This quality management manual describes the quality management system of PIC Systems AG. It shows the legal bases, organisation and management structures and defines the responsibility for the QM system.

Furthermore the precise instruction of the employees with regard to quality management and the coordination of tasks are guaranteed through that. The description of the QMH defines how the QM system of PIC Systems AG, based on ISO 9001-2000, is constructed and documented, how the used procedures (QMV) are defined and how it is maintained respectively how it is kept up to date.

Area of validity and liability

The norm ISO 9001-2000 is obligatory for all products, services and employees of PIC Systems AG. The QM manual and the pertinent applicable documents describe, based on ISO 9001-2000, the quality management system of PIC Systems AG. With the realization of the QM-elements described in this manual the management corresponds to its responsibility and underlines its special quality awareness.

New manual, June 2008

Before the second recertification in June 2008 we decided on recreating the existing manual entirely. The new version 2.0 is available and controlled only in the electronic form.

This second, completely revised version of the ISO manual, considers changes in the organizational and administrative field, as well as the newly introduced commercial software Navision. What’s more, all processes were checked, if necessary adjusted, redundant documents removed and new processes defined. In this way we expressly underline our acknowledgement of the norm and we meet the requirements of the general demand of documentation, maintaining and improvement of the QM system ISO 9001-2000, demanded as in chapter 4.1 of the ISO 9001-2000.
